Monash University, ranked among the top three global universities for pharmacy and pharmacology from 2016 to 2024, is home to the Monash Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS), a global leader in end-to-end drug discovery and development. MIPS collaborates with local and international academic and industry partners to address health challenges including cardiovascular disease, psychiatric conditions and global health challenges such as infectious diseases and maternal health, aiming to enhance drug efficacy and outcomes for individuals, families and communities.

The University of Sydney’s Centre for Drug Discovery Innovation is a multidisciplinary research centre with capabilities ranging from fundamental biology to preclinical evaluation. We integrate drug discovery expertise across the University to discover new targets and design novel molecules with high potential for industry uptake and translation. The Centre partners with academic, healthcare, and industry leaders to translate research into real-world treatments for diseases such as cancer, infectious diseases, and neurological disorders.
